Naively attempted this route for my first bike packing venture. Started at Beaver creek campground and took Lester Creek Rd heading towards Winthrop. Once off of Lester Creek Rd you are on pavement all the way until FS37 turns to FS 39. It's the elevation you need to really consider on this route. My goal was to reach Tiffany Springs CG on day one. I was close but water became a factor for me and how slow I was moving. It would be nice if these routes had a rating system from easy to moderate to difficult. I am not stranger to endurance events and physically demanding but this kind of kicked my butt. Rookie mistakes and perhaps not the right bike. Definitely consider the elevation aspect if looking for a gravel route. I'd rate this moderately difficult and not for first timers!

Hello - strongly considering doing this route. Did you park a vehicle at start finish spot on route?
