Gravel Segment
From Sleppy Mine 38-2-26.1 Rd to Anderson Butte Rd, Jacksonville, Jackson County, Oregon
This is a way of getting to the other side of Anderson Butte Road without having to traverse the full climb. This road has a lot of small rollers and downhill sections that make it less tedious than the main road. It can be used to create a shorter loop starting from Medford on Anderson Butte Road and ending in Talent via Anderson Creek Road. Some spectacular views can be found at the clearcut area. At a point where the road turns sharply from NE to SE, take the gravel path directly north and follow it along the ridge for a 270-degree view of the valley.
