On Co Rd 2, Tofte, Cook County, Minnesota
One of the early mapped MTB routes on the Superior National Forest, backwoods fire lanes and the Sawbill Trail. Start and finish at Temperance River USFS Campground. Alternate parking/start at point #3 on the map. FR 1235 used to be a through road, and can still be bushwacked if your nav skill are good. Good fishing throughout; Temperance and Baptism Rivers are trout streams.
