Rode on 6/19/22. Really excellent long hill. Generally good surface. The western/flatter part is mostly flat, mostly paved, and shared with cars. Then there is a gate and the hill begins - be careful of walkers and dogs (especially if going downhill). Lots of opportunities to turn off and hit some mtb trails

Flat portion is paved for all but some wash crossings. Great hill to climb though.

This is a fun route! You can park close to highway 1 for a longer ride or drive in a bit to get the meat of the up/downhill. I am new to the area so I went past the gate (at this tracks "end") to explore and also tick 10 miles before turning around. Thanks OP!
