Gravel Segment
From Uncas Rd to Co Rd 2, Inlet, Hamilton County, New York
Paved for the first 1.7 miles, but it is easier to park in Inlet than along the road. This road follows the old private rail line of J. Pierpont Morgan to his Adirondack Great Camp, Camp Uncas (Named after the character from Cooper's "Last of the Mohicans".). Technically, it becomes Brown's Tract Road when the pavement ends and Dillon Road as you come into Raquette Lake, but it is the old Uncas Line spur. The one way ride ends at the public beach in Raquette Lake. There are several alternates along the route which will still bring you out in the same place, or provide for different view if going out and back.
4 overlapping segments.
