Canal is visible for some of the ride. On the eastern end, the trail links to Seneca Lake State Park. This makes for a nice entrance to the trail by parking at the Geneva City Lakefront area or Seneca Lake State Park entrance and riding along the north shore of Seneca Lake before following signs to the entrance of the trail."
7 mi dirt Keuka Lake Outlet Trail Dirt route from Seneca St to Elm St, Penn Yan, Yates County, New York "Fairly level, a beautiful ride along the Keuka Outlet (the waterway from Keuka lake to Seneca Lake). Two waterfalls at old mill sites. Mostly dirt, with some paving at the end near Penn Yan. Very quiet with a nice view on both sides."
